Ricoh Acquires Pentax' Camera Division

Pentax’ Optics was acquired by Hoya in 2008 and was part of the companies camera division. Now Hoya has sold Pentax for around 85.4 million Euros to the office electronics manufacturer Ricoh.

The acquisition will not affect our customers in any way. Also Pentax difficult supply situation of late is improving.
