With an extremely large image angle of 110° and a light intensity of 1:2.8, the new lens offers performance values which open up new options for certain industrial applications. The Distagon T* 2.8/15 achieves technical excellence through its exceptional control of chromatic aberration and virtually prevents any colour fringing from occurring as a consequence.
Using two aspheric lenses, a special glass with anomalous partial dispersion and Floating Elements Design, the new lens guarantees high image performance from close range to infinity. The Carl Zeiss T Anti-Reflex coating and elaborate treatment of the lens edges with special deep black lacquers provides excellent insensitivity to light reflections and internal scatter. The robust all metal construction of the Distagon?T 2.8/15 is designed for exceptionally long life.
The main technical specifications include a focal length of 15mm, an aperture of f/2.8 to f/22 and a minimum working distance of 250mm. Camera connections are available with EF bayonet (ZE) and F bayonet (ZF.2).
